| Director's Profile: | Talya Galasko is a writer and director based in Cape Town. Her hands-on approach to directing and meticulous eye for detail have allowed her develop a bold and recognisable film language. As a student of politics with a journalism program from NYU under her belt, her irreverent storytelling is strengthened by gravitas and focus. Talya’s infectious energy and sharp wit comes through in her work, and at the tender old age of 28, she's already earned the venerable Vimeo Staff Pick. Talya's short films have screened at festivals all the way from Toronto and New York to Paris and Berlin, and commercially she is represented at erste liebe in Germany, and at Sketchbook in Cape Town.
