Director Lisette Donkersloot (1992) studied Lifestyle & Design at Willem de Kooning Art academy in Rotterdam, but is an autodidact filmmaker. Using her art background, she has developed a unique and visually powerful handwriting. In recent years she has made a name for herself making music videos for internationally acclaimed artists such as Tove Lo, Yellow Claw and NAO and striking commercials for Flower Council of Holland and Dr. Martens that cemented her firmly within the advertising industry. Last year she released the short film Lead Balloons, which won, among other things, the prize for Best Cinematography at the Short Cutz Awards. This summer, Donkersloot made her long fiction debut on Dutch television with the new drama series SIHAME of the NPO/KRO-NCRV for which she directed 4 episodes. |

| English Synopsis: |
Sihame, an 18 year old girl, is out for revenge after a sex video of her goes viral. She is pilloried both online and offline. She can no longer walk the streets without being intimidated and terrorized and her chance for a normal life seems to be gone forever. With brute violence she opens the hunt for the guys who did this to her and responds to revenge porn with a bloody vengeance. |
